PPS school board member to answer questions 

With a lot of changes being discussed around comprehensive distance learning, limited in-person instruction, and hybrid school options, a PPS school board member will join our upcoming PTA meeting this week to answer parent questions.

Wednesday, February 10th starting at 6:30pm.
You can use this Zoom link to join the meeting.

UPDATE: Due to the potential snow storm this week, our ice cream fundraiser got pushed back by one week. New dates are listed below.  

Ice Cream Fundraiser

Come visit our new neighborhood ice cream parlor and pick up a sweet treat and support your school at the same time. There are two days and two ways to participate in this fundraiser:

• Thursday, February 18th, visit the shop and let them know you are with Capitol Hill Elementary and 25% of the profits will go to support the school.
• Friday, February 19th, they will offer special Capitol Hill "Blue Moon" ice cream flavor for purchase (pints only). The custom flavor will feature fish shaped candy sprinkled on top. For each pint of "Blue Moon" sold, $2 will be donate to the PTA.  

Are you interested in getting involved with the PTA board? We are still looking for someone to fill the open Treasurer 2 position. We are also starting to think ahead to other board positions for the 2021-2022 school year.
