Please join us for our second PTA meeting of the year on Zoom (of course!). We will be discussing upcoming events and finding ways to help support our teachers and staff during this very different school year. We will also be voting on a few board positions for the 2021-2022 school year. We still have openings available if you would like to be part of the PTA team. 

During the second half of our meeting, our school social worker, Jeremy Schlott, will join us to talk about our kids and ways we can help them navigate all of the many changes we are all experiencing.

Fall is a great time of year to snuggle up with a good book! Stock up on holiday gifts and this year’s Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) list at the CHE virtual book fair! All orders placed through the fair at the link provided will support our school library. Your students will be receiving a flyer and we will send out reminders closer to the fair!

We are looking for parents to join the PTA or renew their memberships. Your voice is an important part of making our school a great place to learn! Please join our community.

Having a student at Capitol Hill is not a requirement. Are you homeschooling this year, a grandparent or a community member - we would love to have you join us! Please join us.

Our annual school auction will most likely be digital this year. The auction comes together each year because of our amazing team of parent volunteers. It is our biggest fundraiser each year and is what helps fund an endless number of items.  

Here are just a few: teacher classroom budgets, field trips, playground updates, iPads, Chromebooks, the indoor climbing wall, STEAM enrichment, the community garden, alternative classroom seating, music and more! 

Because we missed the auction last year, we need to build a new team of volunteers. We are looking for people to help lead as well as people to help work through a to-do list.

If you would like to help we need 2 volunteers to chair the event and lots of people to help make it all come together. Contact Crystal Hertzfeld if interested.
