This Friday, June 9th is the all-school 

Spring Dance from 6-8!  

Come join us in the cafeteria for some dancing and end of year fun! This is such a great way to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year!

We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, running games, handing out snacks and clean up. Since caregivers will need to stay with their kids, we know you’ll be here anyway! Please help us make our last PTA Family Fun Night a great one!

We have so many items in our lost and found! We will be setting them out on tables in the front hallway this week. Please ask your student to swing by and look for anything they might be missing - sweatshirts, water bottles, glasses, hats and more! Parents are also welcome to come take a look too! We hope that everything finds their way home before the last day of school. Things that are unclaimed will go to the PPS Clothing Center. 

Project Community Care Day at Capitol Hill
Saturday, August 19, 2023
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Project Community Care is a wonderful tradition and an opportunity for community members to help beautify our school grounds before students return for the school year. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. We will be weeding, spreading mulch around flower beds and bark in the playground, trimming, planting flowers, and taming our summer garden jungle. Please bring your favorite gardening supplies. Wheelbarrows, pruning shears, weed whackers and bark spreading rakes would come in very handy. If you don't have any of those items, we do have some gloves and hand tools you can borrow. We'll have snacks for our volunteers, but please bring a water bottle. 

The PTA Board would like to thank all the many volunteers who have helped make this year so successful! From the Big Boo to the Auction to Field Day ... our volunteers helped make our events so special for our kids and community. 

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in our community, meet other parents and help make Capitol Hill an even more amazing school. Our teachers and staff appreciate all the hard work of all of our volunteers!

We look forward to seeing everyone next school year!

Say what you will about social media ... but it is a great way to get information out to lots of people quickly! For this reason, our PTA is on both Facebook and Instagram. Our Parents Facebook page is also a great place for parents to post questions and get information about things happening in our community. 

It is also a great way to see old photos from PTA events if you are new to our school. ◡̈
